There’s a lot to see and do in Lanzarote for all those visiting this Canary Island. Home to Timanfaya National Park, full of incredible volcanic views that were formed by a six-year long eruption from 1730. This side of the island is also home to its wine region, and there are plenty of wine tours for those interested.

The island is well known and famously linked with the artist and architect Cesar Manrique, and a visit to his spectacular house and creative centre Taro de Tahiche makes for a fascinating look at his creative style.
