Things to do in Athens

Athens has the Acropolis as the hub of the city and this ancient monument is arguably the most important ancient site in the Western world. At the foot of the Acropolis's southern slope you can visit the Acropolis's museum. Other ancient sites can be found to visit in Athens, many of which can be covered by a city tour. Greek mezze cooking classes are popular, or if you want something less formal you can just sit down at a local taverna and sample some Greek food and wine without having to cook it yourself.
