Things to do in Cancun
Anyone who enjoys the outdoors will enjoy Cancun, with diving and snorkelling trips available as well as other water activities for adults and children alike. Day trips are available to Isla Contoy, with hiking, bird watching and snorkelling all available on and around the uninhabited island.
Food in Cancun is hugely important, and there are a number of trips that combine the tasting of some of the street food available with market and other tours. Trips are available to sample more of the Maya culture including the Museu Maya de Cancun with around 400 Maya artefacts on show and El Rey, known for its small ruins. The most famous of the Maya sites is Chichen Itza, and whilst it is often overcrowded, for lots of people it’s a an absolute must-see.
